Manu Natural Reserve is one of the most biodiverse places on Earth, and this officially protected area offers you a life-changing experience. Through this 3-day journey, you will not only witness the beauty of untouched nature, but also immerse yourself in local culture, enjoy scenic boat rides, and explore the lush rainforest. Thanks to expert guides, you’ll gain insight into the secrets of the Amazon, making your visit both enriching and unforgettable.
We will depart from Cusco very early in the morning in one of our vehicles.
We will travel through interesting valleys nestled in the Andes Mountains and pass through picturesque rural communities. We will visit the pre-Incan tombs of the Lupaca culture and then stop in Paucartambo, a beautiful colonial town, where we will visit its fascinating museum.
On the way, we will have lunch in the cloud forest, an area rich in endemic species, such as the spectacled bear and the Andean cock-of-the-rock, Peru’s national bird, which performs a unique courtship ritual. We will also see orchids, bromeliads, ferns, and more. We will continue enjoying the spectacular natural scenery until we reach our accommodation, Pilcopata Inn, where we will spend our first night.
