ITINERARIO
We start our exciting tour with hotel pickup between 03:00 and 03:30 AM. From Arequipa, we head directly to Yura, making a brief stop for breakfast on the way to Cruz del Condor.
Around 08:30 AM, we arrive at Cruz del Condor, a privileged spot to admire one of the deepest canyons in the world and the natural sanctuary of the condor. On the return, we will explore the charming villages of Pinchollo, Maca, and Yanque, known for their colonial churches. We will also visit the Antahuilque and Choquetico viewpoints, from where you can observe preInca tombs and enjoy the impressive Colca landscape with its agricultural terraces.
Then, at 11:30 AM, we reach Chivay to enjoy a welldeserved rest in the thermal baths. Later, we will enjoy a typical lunch in Chivay.
Around 12:30 PM, we begin our return to Arequipa. During the return journey, we will make stops at the volcanoes viewpoint, reaching the highest point at 4,910 meters above sea level. In the Tocra wetlands, we will observe the diversity of wild birds and herds of alpacas and llamas. In Pampa Cañahuas, part of the Aguada Blanca and Salinas National Reserve, we may spot herds of vicuñas, known for their fine fiber.
Around 5:00 PM, we arrive back in Arequipa, thus concluding our fascinating tour of Colca filled with nature, culture, and history.
