Starting in the Imperial City, discover what made Cusco the center of the Inca Empire! In the Sacred Valley, visit the extensive archaeological area of Pisac, the fascinating sites of Moray and Maras, then Ollantaytambo, on your way to Machu Picchu. Get up early to be among the first to see the sunrise over Machu Picchu, then travel back to Cusco the same day. The hike up Rainbow Mountain will be unlike anything you’ve ever seen and is certainly quite different from the climate of the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu!

DAY 1: CITY TOUR CUSCO

🦙 This guided experience offers the perfect mix of history, culture, and nature. It includes the most iconic archaeological sites and living traditions of the Imperial City.
📍 The tour begins with pick-up between 8:30–9:00 a.m. (morning shift) or 12:30–1:00 p.m. (afternoon shift), either from your hotel or from a central point in the Plaza de Armas.
🏛️ First, we visit Qoricancha, the Temple of the Sun, where you’ll explore its fusion of Inca and colonial architecture. After about one hour, we continue by tourist transport.
🚌 Next, we reach Sacsayhuamán and its cyclopean walls. You’ll admire its size, beauty, and incredible views of Cusco and the Andes.
📸 We then stop at Cristo Blanco for panoramic photos, followed by Qenqo, a ceremonial site, and a walk through a eucalyptus forest.
🌿 The route continues to the Huayllarcocha community to observe alpacas and learn about weaving traditions.
⛲ Finally, we visit Tambomachay, famous for its Inca fountains, and Puca Pucara, a red-stone outpost. The tour ends near Cusco’s Plaza de Armas, either at Calle Plateros or Plazoleta Regocijo.

🚐 Daily departures from Cusco: We’ll pick you up between 4:00 and 5:00 a.m. from your hotel in the historic center.
🥐 Breakfast in Cusipata: After a comfortable drive in our tourist transport, you’ll enjoy a continental breakfast at a local restaurant.
🥾 Start of the hike: We’ll arrive at the trailhead and begin the walk toward Rainbow Mountain. A bilingual professional guide will accompany you at all times. In addition, we provide handcrafted walking sticks and oxygen if needed.
🏔️ Explore the summit: Once at the top, you’ll have time to admire the natural rainbow painted across the Andes.
📸 Optional extension: For those seeking more, there’s an optional hike to the surreal and colorful Red Valley.

DAY 5: CUSCO – HUMANTAY LAGOON – CUSCO

Your adventure begins between 4:00 and 5:00 a.m. with hotel pickup in Cusco’s historic center. After that, we drive to the village of Mollepata, where a fresh continental breakfast is served to energize you.
🥾 Guided Hike to the Lake
We then continue to Soraypampa, the starting point of the hike. There, a professional bilingual guide will accompany you throughout the journey. Additionally, handmade walking sticks are provided to help with the ascent. Although the trek can be demanding, the scenery makes every step worthwhile.
🌊 Arriving at the Lagoon
Once at Humantay Lake, the vibrant turquoise waters and majestic snow-capped mountains will take your breath away. It is, truly, a photographer’s paradise and an unforgettable highlight.
🍽️ Buffet Lunch & Return
Finally, after descending, we enjoy a delicious buffet lunch in Soraypampa. Then, we return to Cusco, arriving around 6:00 p.m., thus ending your memorable Humantay Lake Tour.
DÍA 6: CUSCO – 7 AUSANGATE LAGOONS – CUSCO

🕓 The 7 lagoons Ausangate hike begins between 4:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. with hotel pick-up in central Cusco.
🚐 After that, we drive to Pacchanta for a traditional Andean breakfast.
🥾 Then, we begin the guided trek led by a bilingual local expert.
🏞️ Throughout the trail, you’ll see seven stunning lagoons formed by melting glaciers.
♨️ Optionally, enjoy the Pacchanta hot springs for a refreshing soak.
🍲 Later, we have lunch with local ingredients before returning.
