ITINERARY Ausangate Trek 2 Days

DAY 1: CUSCO, PITUMARCA TO SURINA QOCHA CAMP

🕓 Early start: We pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at 4:00 a.m. After a 3-hour drive, we reach the trailhead and enjoy a nourishing Andean breakfast.

🥾 Trekking begins: We hike through valleys surrounded by majestic peaks, passing the Pukaqocha Pass (4,870 m), Andean villages, and turquoise lakes.

🍽️ Lunch & final push: Lunch is served at Anantapata. In the afternoon, we hike up Warmisaya Pass (4,985 m), where we enjoy a peaceful Rainbow Mountain view.

🏕️ Private campsite: We descend to Surine Qocha and set camp beside a serene lake. A warm dinner closes the day.

DAY 2: SURINE QOCHA, RAINBOW MOUNTAIN, RED VALLEY TO CUSCO

🍃 Mountain wake-up: Wake up with hot coca tea in your tent before hitting the trail.

🌈 Peaceful Rainbow Mountain: Hike 45 minutes to reach Rainbow Mountain before the crowds arrive. The peaceful setting makes it even more magical.

📸 Red Valley discovery: Continue to the Red Valley, a Martian-like landscape. After a 30-minute walk to the viewpoint, enjoy some of the best views of the trek.

🚐 Return to Cusco: After descending for 1.5 hours, we meet our private transport. Enjoy lunch along the way and arrive in Cusco by late afternoon.
