Main Info
Inca jungle trail is an amazing 4 day trek leading to Machu Picchu. You will experience the real Peruvian jungle with changing vegetation and many advantures. You will also see different archeological Inca ruins. Inca trail represents a traditional path that Incas used as a pilgrimage to Machu Picchu.
Day 1
The journey will start early in the morning. You will meet the guide at 4:00 and you will embark on a ride by van through the Sacret Valley to Ollantaytambo train station.
During the train journey to the starting point you will see the breathtaking scenery of the sacret valley as well as the high snowy mountains in the distance.
After arriving to the reservoir, you will start a half day trek to Mach Picchu. You will visit the Wiñayhuayna “For Ever Young” archaeological site as well as the renown Sun Gate.
You will get to Machu Picchu village under the ancient city around 2.00 pm and you will have time to explore this magical place as well as to learn about the history from the local guide.
At 17.30 you will take a bus to Aguas Calientes.
Day 2
At 5:30 am you will take a bus to Machupicchu Inca City.
At 7:00 you will get to the ancient citadella of Machu Picchu and will explore the Inca city around sun rise. You will learn about the history with the guide and then explore the place at your own pace.
When you have finished exploring, by 18:20 pm you will take the train back to Cusco.
