Itinerario

DAY 01: WELCOME TO LIMA AND CITY TOUR IN LIMA:

Upon your arrival in Lima, we will be waiting for you at Jorge Chávez Airport with a sign bearing your name to warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. In the afternoon, at 2:00 pm, we will begin the City Tour in Lima, starting with a panoramic view of the Pucllana Pyramid. We will visit the Historic Center, passing by the Plaza Mayor, Government Palace, and Cathedral. We’ll also explore the Central Bank Museum and the San Francisco Catacombs. Finally, we will tour modern Lima, including El Olivar de San Isidro, Miraflores, Larcomar, and the Love Park.

DAY 02: LIMA – PARACAS, BALLESTAS ISLANDS, ICA - NAZCA

Our tour begins at 3:45 am with a bus trip from Lima to Paracas. Upon arrival at 7:45 am, we’ll head to the pier to start the Ballestas Islands tour at 8:00 am, where we’ll see the Candelabro, marine wildlife, and Pacific Ocean rock formations. At 10:00 am, we’ll return to Paracas and take the bus to Ica at 11:00 am, arriving at 12:30 pm.

At 1:00 pm, the city tour in Ica begins, visiting the Huacachina Lagoon and enjoying dune buggy rides and sandboarding. We will visit the “El Catador” winery for wine and pisco tasting and explore the Plaza de Armas, Luren temple, and Huacachina oasis. The tour in Ica ends at 6:30 pm, and at 7:20 pm, we’ll take the bus to Nazca, arriving at 9:35 pm to spend the night at the hotel. Meals are not included.

DAY 03: NAZCA OVERFLIGHT – LIMA

We will pick you up early at your hotel and take you to the Nazca airfield for a 35-minute flight over the enigmatic Nazca Lines. From the air, you can see the impressive figures on the Pampas of San José, covering 500 hectares and studied by Dr. Maria Reiche, who considered these lines to be the largest astronomical calendar in the world.

During the flight, you will observe 12 figures. Afterward, you’ll have free time for lunch (not included). At 1:00 pm, we will transfer to the Cruz del Sur terminal to board the bus back to Lima at 2:00 pm, with an estimated arrival at 9:30 pm.

DAY 04: FLIGHT FROM LIMA TO CUSCO AND CITY TOUR IN CUSCO:

On the fourth day, we will transfer you from your hotel to Jorge Chávez Airport 1 hour and 30 minutes before your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, our staff will greet you at Velasco Astete Airport and take you to your hotel to acclimate. In the afternoon, at 1:00 pm, we’ll begin a guided tour of the Imperial City of Cusco, where you’ll witness the blend of Andean and Spanish cultures. We will visit the Santo Domingo Convent on the Qoricancha, the center of worship to the Sun God, and then explore the archaeological sites of Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puca Pucara, and Tambomachay. We’ll end the day by returning to your hotel in Cusco.

DAY 05: MACHU PICCHU IN ONE DAY

Today is your adventure to Machu Picchu! We will pick you up at your hotel at 4:00 am and take you to Ollantaytambo train station to board the Expedition train at 6:10 am (or pick you up between 5:20 and 5:30 am if departing from there). Along the way, you’ll admire ancient Inca terraces along the Vilcanota River.

Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, your guide will greet you, and after a brief rest, you’ll take a bus up to Machu Picchu. Enjoy a two-hour guided tour of the Citadel, exploring its agricultural, residential, and religious sectors.

After taking in the views, you’ll return to Aguas Calientes for lunch. Depending on your train schedule, you’ll have time to explore the town, go shopping, visit a museum, or relax in the hot springs. The train will take you back to Ollantaytambo, where your driver will transfer you to your hotel in Cusco based on your train schedule.

DAY 06: ATV TOUR TO MORADA DE LOS DIOSES + PIURAY LAGOON

Our ATV tour starts with a pickup from your hotel in Cusco at 7:30 am and a 25-minute drive to our base in Sencca, Tica Tica. After a brief instruction, we’ll head to the Poroy viewpoint to enjoy views of snow-capped peaks. We will then proceed to Piuray Lagoon in Chincheros to take photos and appreciate its landscapes.

On the way back, we’ll stop at the colonial aqueduct of Fortaleza and continue to the Morada de los Dioses, where we’ll see Andean petroglyphs. At the end, we return to the base and then to Cusco. In the evening, our driver will take you to the terminal to board the 10:00 pm bus to Puno.

DAY 07: ROUTE OF THE SUN

We’ll pick you up from your hotel at 6:20 am to take you to the tourist bus terminal heading to Puno (altitude 3818 m.a.s.l.).

The bus is equipped with restrooms and has a driver, a bilingual guide, and an attendant. We will visit Andahuaylillas Church, known as the Sistine Chapel of South America, and then continue to Raqchi to see the Inca temple of Wiracocha.

Afterward, we’ll enjoy a buffet lunch in Sicuani. We’ll visit La Raya, the highest point of the journey at 4,335 meters, and then go to Pucará to see the Lithic Museum. Finally, we’ll arrive in Puno, where our staff will transfer you to your hotel.

DAY 08: FULL DAY - PUNO

At 7:00 am, we’ll pick you up at your hotel to transfer you to the port and start the boat tour to the “Uros Islands,” arriving around 7:20 am. These islands are built with totora reeds, and the guide will share information about Lake Titicaca and the Uros culture. We will then visit Taquile Island, famous for its high-quality textiles. You’ll have free time in the main square for shopping, followed by lunch at 12:40 pm. We will depart from Taquile at 2:30 pm, arriving in Puno at 5:30 pm, where we will transfer you to your hotel.
