\ud83c\udf05 We start our day at 4:30 a.m. with a journey to\u00a0Collpa Chuncho<\/b><\/span>, the largest macaw clay lick on Earth. During the 90-minute boat ride, there\u2019s a chance to spot capybaras, tapirs, exotic birds, and even jaguars.<\/p>

\ud83e\udd9c Upon arrival, we settle in to witness a breathtaking natural show. Hundreds of parrots and macaws descend to the clay wall to feed. This wildlife spectacle is a highlight of the\u00a0Tambopata & Sandoval lake<\/strong>\u00a0tour<\/b><\/span>, and a dream moment for nature lovers.<\/p>

\ud83c\udf7d\ufe0f After a camp-style breakfast, we return to the lodge, enjoy lunch, and continue to\u00a0Lake Sandoval<\/b><\/span>, arriving at Monte Amaz\u00f3nico Lodge for check-in.<\/p>

\ud83c\udf19 In the evening, we head out in search of white caimans and capybaras along the Madre de Dios River. This night tour offers a unique glimpse into the jungle\u2019s nocturnal life. We finish with dinner and rest.<\/p>

\ud83d\udef6 After breakfast, we hike 3 km through the lush jungle to\u00a0Lake Sandoval<\/b><\/span>, one of Tambopata National Reserve\u2019s largest lakes. Aboard a rowing boat, we spot birds such as hoatzins, cormorants, and herons, along with monkeys, sloths, and hopefully giant river otters.<\/p>

\ud83e\udda6 This peaceful lake experience is a core part of the\u00a0Tambopata & Sandoval lake<\/strong>\u00a0tour<\/b><\/span>, showcasing the Amazon\u2019s rich biodiversity. If we\u2019re lucky, we may also see large caimans basking in the sun.<\/p>

\ud83c\udf7d\ufe0f We return to the lodge for a typical lunch. Finally, we travel back to Puerto Maldonado, where we\u2019ll transfer you to the airport or bus station, ending this immersive journey through the jungle.<\/p>
